2006
  • Pentech Solution Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated and commenced business operations, mainly in the supply of ICT hardware and software.
  • Started business operations from a rented premises in Sungai Nibong, Penang.
2006 - 2010
  • Primarily focused on serving small and medium-sized enterprises ("SMEs") in Malaysia.
  • Secured our first project involving the supply and integration of computers and software for an education facility in Bedong, Kedah.
2011 - 2013
  • Developed our capabilities in enterprise ICT infrastructure integration, serving local public listed companies and multinational corporations.
2011
  • Secured our first enterprise ICT infrastructure integration project of an E&E product manufacturer in Bayan Lepas, Penang, involving cabling and electrical works, access control systems, and network switches.
2012
  • Expanded into networking solutions, securing our first project involving the integration of network switches and wireless infrastructure for a healthcare provider in Georgetown, Penang.
  • Commenced providing data centre solutions, with our first project involving the integration of servers, storage systems, server racks, and related software for a government agency in Georgetown, Penang.
  • Appointed as a Gold Partner of Hewlett Packard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
2012 - 2013
  • Became a partner under the Microsoft Partner Network.
2013
  • Appointed as an HP Personal Systems and Printing Solutions (PPS) commercial partner of Hewlett Packard (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
2014 - 2016
  • We further developed our integration of enterprise ICT infrastructure services capabilities through a series of projects.
2015
  • Secured a server infrastructure upgrade project for a semiconductor manufacturing services provider in Bayan Lepas, Penang, involving servers, storage systems, accessories, and related software.
  • Secured an enterprise data centre integration project from an engineering service provider for a bridge infrastructure project in Penang, involving servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power backup systems, and related software.
  • Established a physical presence in Kuala Lumpur by setting up an office in a rented premises.
2016
  • Secured a follow-on enterprise data centre project from the same semiconductor manufacturing services provider in Bayan Lepas, Penang, involving servers, storage systems, networking equipment, virtualisation, and related software.
  • Secured an enterprise data centre integration project from a medical device manufacturer in Bayan Lepas, Penang, involving servers, networking equipment, power backup and cooling components, and related software.
2017
  • Established our cloud computing and software team and commenced offering cloud computing services.
  • Secured our first cloud computing services customer, an E&E manufacturer in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
2018
  • Secured our first overseas order from our Malaysian customer's related entities for the supply of hardware and software to Taiwan and Hong Kong.
  • Relocated our office from Sungai Nibong, Penang, to our current Group Head Office in Bayan Lepas, Penang, which is a rented premises.
2022
  • Expanded our Group Head Office by renting additional office space.
  • Relocated our Kuala Lumpur office to another rented premises within the same vicinity.
2023
  • Launched managed services under our "1X" brand and secured our first customer, a financial services provider in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
  • Launched digital transformation services under our "DX" brand and secured our first customer, a food and beverage manufacturer in Taiping, Perak.
2026
  • Obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for our information security management system, covering the integration of enterprise ICT infrastructure, cloud services, managed services, and supporting functions.
